Whalers Hockey

The Whalers are guaranteed a 3rd place finish in the IIHA Development League and will therefore be competing in the playoffs. Congratulations to the team and management for their hard work and success!

An enjoyable match at the Ice Dome took place last night, where the Bulls Ladies played the Whalers, with the Whalers managing a 5-0 win.

There's been a schedule change to our game on Saturday 12th April against the Dublin Wolves. The face-off time has been changed to 9:30PM

A late change to our schedule has the Whalers playing the Latvian Hawks this Sunday (30th March) at 9:30PM at the Dundalk Ice Dome.

Bart and Riley Gatensby have been selected to play in an IIHF All-Star game this Sunday at 10pm at the Ice Dome. This is a very special game and we hope to have as many team members, friends and family there to support our guys!

A training/scrimmage game has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 28th February at 11pm against the Wolves.

Just as a reminder, training resumes tomorrow at 11PM. We have a game on Wednesday 9th January at 8:30pm against the Belfast Eagles, so a full turnout on Monday's practice is important!

Unfortunately due to a lack of Hawks players available to play on Sunday, our match on Sunday 30th December is postponed. Apologies to all involved. However, we are hoping to have a training session next week so check back here and on the forum where more information will be posted once available.

Due to a chance of circumstances, the game on the 30th December between the Whalers and the Hawks is to go ahead as planned at 18:00 at the Dundalk Ice Dome!

Due to public skating sessions taking place on the 23rd December, the match between the Dublin Rams B and the Whalers has been postponed. An alternative date has not yet been made available but we will update the site accordingly as soon as there is more information.
